Come find the sunshine with us! July is for Peaches, Sunflowers & Photo Contests! Cut your own sunflowers are $1/ stem or add on a mini French bucket with 10 cut your own stems. Come experience the glory of the sunshine and fill your spirit and nourish your soul.
Peaches are the stone fruit of summer and we have several varieties that ripen throughout the months of July and August so you can come pick plenty and often!
Bring your own clippers or purchase some from our Farm Market.
Advice from a sunflower ~ Be outstanding in your field, hold your head high, spread seeds of happiness, feed the birds, think solar, keep on the sunny side, grow up!
Sunflower Photo Contest ~ 2024
Submit your perfect pic in our Sunflower Photo Contest! Come frolic in the sunflower fields and peach orchard and snap all the amazing moments then submit your top pics.
Each category winner receives a Fan of the Farm Season Pass for farm admission for the remainder of the 2024 season ($200 Value) and the Best in Show Prize Winner (1) receives a complimentary 1 weeknight stay for up to 4 guests in our Brewer’s Cottage at Dirt Farm Brewing to Experience Bluemont ($525 Value).

- Sunflower Extravaganza ~ capture the glorious blooms up close
- Full Glory Landscape ~ survey the landscape and all the magic of the field & farm. Entries may be taken anywhere at Great Country Farms or Henway Hard Cider

- July 20-28 ~ Visit Great Country Farms and take your Sunflower Photos. Submit your photo entries online via our website between July 20th & midnight July 31
