Bring your dachshund to compete in the ultimate wiener dog race at the second annual Doxie Derby! Watch these speedy pups dash down the track in pursuit of glory, bragging rights, and plenty of treats. Whether your doxie is a seasoned racer or simply enjoys a good scamper, this tail-wagging event is perfect for dog lovers of all ages.
Doxie Derby Race Begins: 4:00 PM SHARP
Race Registration: Advance registration online or onsite from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Gates Open to Spectators: 3:00 PM
Please Note: Race registrations will NOT be accepted after 3:00 PM.
Head over to the Henway Hard Cider Barn to enjoy cold cider, vendor shopping, and a Dachshund Pup Meet-up before making your way to the rodeo arena as pups and humans gather for race time.
Best of all, your participation helps support a great cause. A portion of event proceeds will be donated to Tucker WRLD, a Loudoun County-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters, providing medical care, and helping them find loving forever homes.
