Pick up March 21-April 7, 2026; 11am-4pm
Enjoy this opportunity to raise baby chicks at home with out the long term commitment of keeping chickens. This program does typically sell out. Join our wait list today to be the first to know when chicks are available to order.
How it works:
- Chicks go on Sale February 1, 2026. Purchase your 4 chicks and schedule your pick up date. We do sell out quickly!
- Add-on a care kit if don’t have one.
- Decide a warm spot where you would like to keep your chicks, laundry room, bathroom, mud room, then set up a box to be their home. (Tips below)
- March 21 – April 7th: The Farm Market will be open for you to pick up your four baby chicks & a bag of starter food for their first week on your schedule pick up date.
- Join us for a Chick Raising Class at 11am for beginning chick program participants or those looking to brush up on their skills, or just to visit with our Farmers.
- Have fun raising these little peeps in your home until their feathers come in and they are big enough to go outside and run around in about 6-8 weeks. Then move them to your chicken coop. If you don’t plan to keep the chicks, simply bring them back to the farm to join of flock of egg layers anytime from in a few days to few weeks.
