We’re turning up the fun with a season packed with excitement, flavor, and family-friendly thrills. Our Farm Market is bursting with a variety of fresh apples, award-winning cider, and seasonal treats to satisfy your autumn cravings. Join us for a fall celebration like no other, featuring our legendary Corn Maze, the crowd-favorite Oinkintucky Derby Pig Races, and so much more!
September means back-to-school, but at Great Country Farms, it’s all about back-to-the-farm for fun!
Weekdays
- Conquer the Corn Maze and snap share-worthy photos.
- Romp in our 15-acre play area with the one-of-a-kind Farm Ninja Obstacle Course, two massive Jumping Pillows, Cow Pie Putt-Putt Golf, rope swings, farm animals, and more!
- Shop the Farm Market for fresh apples, fall squash, local honey, jams, hand-dipped ice cream, and our famous apple cider donuts. Don’t miss our 100% natural cider slushies and fresh-baked apple pies!
- Savor lunch at The Henway Cider Barn (open Fri–Mon, 11 AM–6 PM) with craft ciders and seasonal flavors.
- Take a quick drive to Bluemont Vineyard for wine with a view (10% off bottles with your farm wristband, reservations recommended on weekends). Or head to Dirt Farm Brewing for farm-fresh brews (open daily, extended hours Fri–Sat).
Weekends (Everything Above + More):
- Cheer on the pigs at the Oinkintucky Derby Pig Races (11 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM).
- Watch Apple Pressing Demos (11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 3:30 PM) and taste our fresh cider
- Roast marshmallows over an open fire (11 AM–4 PM).
- Grab a bite at the Roosteraunt Snack Bar (11 AM–4 PM) with pizza, chicken tenders, and kettle corn.
