Cider & Crafts: Candle Making with Loudoun Wicks

Join us for a 2-hour Candle-Making Workshop at Henway Hard Cider. The workshop is led by Kristi Wick of Loudoun Wicks and includes education on candle wax, wicks, fragrance oils, and candle care in addition to easy step-by-step instructions. We will teach you how to blend several complementary fragrances to create your own unique scent. Our fragrance oils include woodsy, fruity, floral, fresh, citrus, oriental, and gourmand scents.

Materials Provided

• 12 oz glass jar with bronze lid

• 100% Soy wax

• Wicks and wick stickers

• Warning labels

• Pour pot, whisk, and measuring cup

• Up to 20 different fragrance oils to mix ’n match

Tickets are $45.00 per guest and include all instructions and materials to make a candle plus your first glass of hard cider. This class provides supplies for 1 candle per person. If time permits, additional candle supplies can be purchased by an individual for $15/candle.
