During this delightful season of festive flavors\, the art of hard cider meets the magic of the holiday cookies. Our cozy Tasting & Tap Room beckons you to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year!  \nFirst\, raise your glass to the holiday season and enjoy the warmth of great company. Then\, savor a spectacular selection of Henway Hard Cider thoughtfully paired with classic holiday cookies. From classic sugar cookies to peanut butter kisses\, each cookie will feature a complimenting cider served as a self-guided flight.  \nAfter your pairing\, cozy up by the bonfire and enjoy a cup of mulled cider. Additional hard cider is available for purchase by the pint along with savory fare from the Bird Bites Kitchen.  \nYour day doesn’t end with the last cookie crumb! Take home the magic! A selection of our featured hard ciders will be available for purchase so you can take home the seasonal spirit!  \nSpace is limited for this seasonal pairing and reservations are required.  \nReservations are $30.00 per guest plus tax and include a welcome beverage and a flight of four holiday cookies paired with hard cider. \n  \nMake a day of it! After your day on the farm\, head to Bluemont Vineyard to catch the annual Lighting of the Vines Illumination each evening at 5:30 p.m. \n  \nOur farm vineyard is located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains and just over an hour from the Washington D.C. area. Get cozy on the mountain as you create a unique\, one of a kind\, gift for a loved one\, or yourself\, with Lundy Design! \nIn this workshop\, Lundy Design will guide you as you select up to three copper blanks to create unique\, funky and rustic ornaments. You will be using hammers and pliers to fabricate your ornaments\, with the option to add a black patina to bring out the texture of your ornament. Finish it off with a black waxed string and it is officially tree-ready! \n$40 per person. Includes three unique metal ornaments to take home. DESCRIPTION:Join us for Cookies on the Mountain with  Sweet Delights by Farmstead on Saturday\, December 16th\, 2023!\nThe elves are busy this year\, so we are bringing Santa’s Workshop to you! Get cozy in the Taproom as you create a unique\, one of a kind\, gift for a loved one or yourself! \nDuring this workshop\, you will learn the tips and tricks on how to decorate a pre-assembled gingerbread house along with four mini cookies to finish your gingerbread house scene. Your ticket includes- One pre-assembled gingerbread house sugar cookie\, icing\, tools\, four mini semi-decorated cookies\, candy\, along with a gingerbread house box. BEST PART- you can actually eat the entire gingerbread house! Although cookie decorating is for everyone\, this class is being offered to 21+. \nWorkshops will be held at the start of every hour from 11am-7pm. ADDITIONAL to-go kits can be preordered and will be ready for you to take home after your workshop! Cookies are always good for sharing\, however\, we know you will NOT want to share your finished gingerbread sugar cookie house. We ask that you please do not share tickets. Tickets are good for 1 gingerbread house PER PERSON (2 tickets will give you two gingerbread houses for 2 people\, etc.) \nBeer and food will be available while you are decorating – check out our beer and food menus\, here!  \nNo refunds will be issued. Instead you will have the option to transfer your ticket to someone else or use it towards another workshop.
