SUMMARY:Top Gun Construction Rodeo
DESCRIPTION:2nd Annual Top Gun Construction Rodeo\nAugust 22 & 23 | Great Country Farms\n\n\n9am to 5pm – Come see the Pros \n\nAfter an incredible first year filled with generosity\, grit\, and community spirit\, the Top Gun Construction Rodeo returns for an even bigger\, two-day event in 2026. \nWhat started as a six-week idea quickly became a powerful demonstration of how the construction community shows up for its own — raising more than $25\,000 for a local family in need. This year\, Land Improvement Contractors of America (LICA) and Great Country Farms have teamed up\, bringing that same heart\, horsepower\, and heavy equipment for a full weekend of competition\, family fun\, and giving back. \nCompetition and Community\n\nFrom morning to late afternoon\, skilled heavy-equipment operators will go head-to-head in timed challenges designed to test precision\, speed\, and skill. Expect roaring engines\, nail-biting finishes\, and plenty of friendly rivalry as contractors and operators showcase the talent and camaraderie that define this industry. \nLocal contractors and equipment dealers will once again transform the farm into a one-of-a-kind competition arena filled with impressive machines\, hands-on experiences\, and larger-than-life demonstrations. \nIf year one proved anything\, it’s that this event is about more than competition — it’s about community. Expect the return of crowd-favorite fundraising moments\, auctions\, and opportunities to support a meaningful cause\, The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation. \nFamily Fun\nThe Construction Rodeo isn’t just for industry pros — it’s built for families and future operators\, too. Kids and adults alike can get up close to the equipment\, try interactive challenges\, and enjoy crowd-favorite activities returning from last year (and a few exciting new surprises). \n  \nBUY TICKETS NOW \n  \nOur farm vineyard is located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains and just over an hour from the Washington D.C. area. After exploring Virginia Wine Country\, why not extend your visit and enjoy an overnight stay in Bluemont\, Virginia? View our four unique Bluemont Cottages surrounding our property\, each conveniently located in proximity to Bluemont Vineyard\, Great Country Farms\, Henway Hard Cider and Dirt Farm Brewing.

SUMMARY:Zac Townsend and The Mudcats LIVE at Dirt Farm
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a high-energy blend of blues\, rock\, and Americana from Zac Townsend & The Mudcats. We first heard this group open up for Low Water Bridge Band\, and we’ve been counting down the days until we could give them a show of their own up here on the mountain!\nBorn and raised in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains\, Zac Townsend has been immersed in the rich musical traditions of the Shenandoah Valley and beyond since he first took the stage at just 14 years old. \nAfter getting his start in rock and metal bands\, Townsend developed a signature grit in his voice and an energetic stage presence that still shine through today. He seamlessly blends that raw intensity with the soulful sounds of Americana\, country\, and blues\, creating a style that’s both powerful and authentic. \nInfluenced by artists like Danny O’Keefe\, The Devil Makes Three\, Jason Isbell\, and Tyler Childers\, Townsend’s music resists being confined to a single genre. Instead\, his songs offer a dynamic mix of heartfelt storytelling\, rugged vocals\, and roots-driven musicianship that’s sure to resonate with a wide range of listeners. \nLive music will be set up on the patio and seating will be available on our three tiered large patio or in our spacious lawn area. Personal chairs and blankets are welcome and encouraged if you’d like to sit in our lawn. No coolers\, outside food\, alcohol\, or backpacks are permitted. We’ll have plenty of beer and food available! \nGeneral Admission: $15 and includes your first beverage (beer or NA). This is an outdoor\, rain or shine event. Tickets are non-refundable. Taproom hours of operation are 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Last call at 5:30 p.m. If you get here a little early\, no worries\, just check in with someone at the bar and we’ll get you a drink and your wristband! \nWe hope to see you on the mountain for one helluva good time and great tunes for two hours straight! \n \n\n\nPowered by SimpleTix\n\nFAQs:\nQ: What if I buy a ticket and change my mind? Or can’t go?\nA. We need to ensure that\, at the least\, Dirt Farm is compensated for the band\, time\, and event extras. There will be no refunds available.
