SUMMARY:American Craft Beer Month - Weekly Beer Releases at Dirt Farm
DESCRIPTION:August is American Craft Beer Month\, and we’ll weekly beer releases throughout the month to celebrate!\nNot only are we releasing six beers during the month of August\, but five out of the six beers are from our Homegrown series – meaning they utilize produce grown right here on our family farm in Bluemont\, Virginia! New beer releases will drop every Friday during the month of August! \nOkay\, okay\, we ARE technically starting a week early\, but what can we say?! We are so passionate about American Craft Beer and we can’t wait to celebrate with y’all! \nFriday\, July 25: Peachy Mother Pucker Sour 4.6% ABV: Made with fresh peaches from Great Country Farms\, this Berliner Weisse is bright\, sour\, and so freaking mouthwatering! It won a gold medal at the Virginia Craft Beer Cup for a reason! \nFriday\, August 1: Som’ Peach Ale 5.4% ABV: Hundreds of pounds of fresh peaches go into every batch making this a refreshing summer seasonal. \nFriday. August 8: 3-Day Weekend Hazy IPA 6.1% ABV: Bursting with juicy grapefruit and zesty orange\, this hazy IPA delivers a smooth\, full-bodied sip with a bright citrus punch. Soft bitterness and a pillowy mouthfeel make it a refreshing\, fruit-forward delight. Brewed with Meridian and Motueka Hops. \nFriday\, August 15: Wineberry Mtn. Water: Made with hand picked wild wineberries from our property and fresh mountain water from our well this hard seltzer is packed with a bold flavor and a bold color. \nFriday\, August 22: Tropical Blackberry Mtn. Water: Hand picked blackberries from Great Country Farms are blended with a tropically flavored coconut lime blend to create one of our most favorite summer drinks yet! \nFriday\, August 29: Watermelon Crawl Mtn. Water: If you could bottle up summer and put it in a glass this would be it! Fresh watermelon is pureed and created into syrup that is then blended with fresh mountain water from our well. This hard seltzer is SO DANG GOOD AND REFRESHING! \nEach of these beer releases will only be on for a LIMITED TIME so make sure to come on out and join us each week for some epic summertime craft beverages! And no matter what you do\, don’t forget to drink AMERICAN CRAFT BEER all month long! See what’s currently on tap\, HERE! \nLet’s raise a glass to good beer\, good folks\, and good times – all month long at Dirt Farm Brewing!

SUMMARY:Phase II: 2024 Bourbon Barrel Barleywine Release at Dirt Farm
DESCRIPTION:Join us for Phase II: 2024 Bourbon Barrel Barleywine Release at Dirt Farm Brewing on June 28\, 2024!\nWe are so excited to announce ‘Phase II’ of our 2024 Bourbon Barrel Barleywine Release. We put our 2024 Barleywine into fresh Heaven Hill Distillery Bourbon Barrels in December 2024 and we are planning a slow release to give you the ultimate tasting experience. Enjoy a glass of this beverage after one month\, six months and 12 months aging in the bourbon barrels. \nAt each release you can enjoy your Bourbon Barrel Barleywine by the glass or in a bottle to take home. This beer ages well so it can be stored away in your cellar for years to come! Once we’ve released all stages of this beer\, you can enjoy a vertical tasting in the Taproom\, or grab all three bottles to hold on to or gift! \nThis is a limited release and you now have the opportunity to order all three bottles for a discounted price! If you’d like more than one of each bottle\, you may purchase more than one ticket. \nTickets are $75 and Include:\n-Two 10oz DFB Branded Tulip Glasses ($12 value)\n-Bottle of 2024 Bourbon Barrel Barleywine Aged for 1 month – pick up on June 28 ($25 value)\n-Bottle of 2024 Bourbon Barrel Barleywine Aged for 6 months -pick up on June 28 ($25 value)\n-Bottle of 2024 Bourbon Barrel Barleywine Aged for 12 months – pick up on December 13 ($25 value) \n*You do not need tickets to join us in the Taproom for a tasting\, the ticket sales are only if you are interested in pre-ordering all three bottles at a discounted price! \n  \nAbout The Barleywine Release:\nPhase I was released on January 18. For this release\, our 2024 Barleywine will have spent one month in the Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels. This beer has more of a strong malt backbone with a prominent hop flavor than we are used to with our typical aged barleywine. There should be a slight hint of oak\, vanilla and caramel\, however there will be plenty of room for the flavor to grow over the year! \nPhase II will be released on June 28 and will be available by the glass or in a bottle to go! This beer will be aged for six months in Heaven Hill Distillery Bourbon Barrels. This beer should have a noticeable influence from the Bourbon Barrels\, with the oak and vanilla flavors developing nicely alongside the malt and hop characteristics from the barleywine. You should also find a little warmth behind the booziness of this beverage as it starts to take on more of the bourbon notes from the barrel. \nPhase III will be released on December 13\, and will be available by the glass or in a bottle to go. We are expecting this beer to be the smoothest and richest with the influence of 12 months in the barrel! This beer will be sweet and boozy with a more mellow malt and hop profile. The heat from the bourbon will be noticeable but it will blend seamlessly with the vanilla and oak flavors from the barrel. \nMake sure to grab a vertical tasting pack with all three bottles\, they make great gifts and the flavor will evolve as they age in your cellar! \n \n\n\nPowered by SimpleTix

After the hike we encourage everyone to hang out and have a beer and some bites from The Truck to refuel! \nMake sure you mark yourself ‘interested’ in this event on facebook if you plan to join us.
