The Kitchen Workshop has prepared this classic\, southern favorite with shrimp\, sausage\, potatoes\, and corn\, all thrown together and simmered in a special blend of seasoning spices. It wouldn’t be a southern dish without a fresh apple cobbler! \n  \nBeer Release\n  \nWe would like to re-introduce one of our first ever kettle sours to the tap list! RedNecktarine is a kettle sour made using fresh nectarines from Great Country Farms. This beer is as bright in tartness as it is in color\, come try it with us! And\, it pairs perfectly with the low country boil! \n  \nLive Music\n  \nOn Saturday\, November 12\, enjoy Live Music by bluegrass group\, Rowdy Acres\, from 1-4 pm on the patio! \n  \nOn Sunday\, November 13\, get ready to tap your feet to live music by Gary Jay and the FIRE from 1-4 pm on the patio! \n  \nDon’t want to join in on the low country boil\, but still want to visit? No problem! Our Kitchen Workshop will be open all day serving up their usual fare\, beer will be flowin’\, and live music will be on the patio from 1-4 pm. The patio and lawn will have seating available on a first-come\, first-served basis. No reservations are needed. As Bruce says\, “no bad weather\, just bad gear!” So dress accordingly for an Autumn day on the mountain! \n  \nThe Low Country Boil is $26 per plate and includes shrimp boil and apple cobbler. Gratuity + eventbrite fees included. Please purchase your ticket in advance\, boil may sell out! Feasting time is 12-4 pm. Sit back with a big ‘ol bowl of white chicken chili and enjoy some true roots bluegrass! \nAmanda Murphy and The Lost Indians are a Northern Virginia based Bluegrass band that bring some serious heat to the stage! They’ll have you moving and dancing in no time to their fast-paced\, high energy bluegrass! Music is from 3-6pm. \nThe Kitchen Workshop is preparing a hearty pot of White Chicken Chili fixed up with sour cream and scallions. And we all know nothing pairs better with chili than a nice piece of homemade cornbread! Chili will be served from 2-5pm and will be $15 per serving. Chili will only be available for ticket holders. Additional food items will be available from The Kitchen Workshop ‘till 6pm. Tickets are only necessary if you would like to get in on the chili. Dunkel meaning “dark” and weizen meaning “wheat”\, this German-style ale is light on the palate despite its dark appearance. Notes of banana and clove with an ever so slight chocolate character from the roasted malts create a well-rounded flavor profile perfect for any time of year. \nHeifer Weizen 5.1% ABV. This German-style wheat ale has notes of banana and clove. Light and refreshing\, this beer goes down smooth! \nPumpkin Ale 5.2% ABV. This beer is started in June by plowing the field and planting the seeds. After harvest\, we roast the neck pumpkins with brown sugar and add them to our amber ale base. Our Dirt Farm blend of fall spices are added to the boil to complete the batch\, this labor of love is an authentic “plow to pint” pumpkin ale. \nThe Kitchen Workshop will be serving up your favorite German fare.\nPick your plate and pre-order for pick-up in our Beer Garden\, available from 12-4pm. To celebrate\, we are releasing one of our favorite seasonal ales. Pumpkin Ale Beer Release + Nomini Bay Oyster Fest + Live Music! \nStarting in the fields\, we pick over 200 pounds of neck pumpkins per batch. After harvesting\, we roast the neck pumpkins with brown sugar and add them to our amber ale base. We then add our secret blend of fall spices to the boil to complete the batch. The end result of this labor of love is an authentic pumpkin ale loaded with not so #basic pumpkin spice flavor. \nWe’ll be celebrating this seasonal release with live music all weekend long! On Saturday\, September 3\, sing along to country music by local talent\, Sela Campbell from 1-4pm on the patio! \nOn Sunday\, September 4\, come sit back and relax while listening to classic country\, southern rock\, blues and bluegrass by Bryan Shepherd from 1-4pm! \nAnd just when we thought we couldn’t have any more fun\, Nomini Bay Oyster Fest has been added to the mix!
