DESCRIPTION:Chick Raising with Great Country Farms’ Spring Chick Program\nChick Raising Program – 2026 Pre-Orders Open February 1\, 2026 \nPick up March 21-April 7\, 2026; 11am-4pm \nEnjoy this opportunity to raise baby chicks at home with out the long term commitment of keeping chickens.  This program does typically sell out.  Join our wait list today to be the first to know when chicks are available to order. \nJoin our Chick Wait List! \nHow it works: \n\nChicks go on Sale February 1\, 2026.  Purchase your 4 chicks and schedule your pick up date.  We do sell out quickly!\nAdd-on  a  care  kit  if  don’t  have  one.\nDecide a warm spot where you would like to keep your chicks\, laundry room\, bathroom\, mud room\, then set up a box to be their home. (Tips below)\nMarch 21 – April 7th:  The Farm Market will be open for  you to pick up your four baby chicks & a bag of starter food for their first week on your schedule pick up date.\nJoin us for a Chick Raising Class at 11am for beginning chick program participants or those looking to brush up on their skills\, or just to visit with our Farmers.\nHave fun raising these little peeps in your home until their feathers come in and they are big enough to go outside and run around in about 6-8 weeks.  Then move them to your chicken coop.
