DESCRIPTION:Harvest Progression Pairing\nHosted By The Reserve at Bluemont Vineyard \nAvailable By Reservation Weekends Through November 12th \n\nVisit The Reserve at Bluemont Vineyard for a Harvest Progression Wine Tasting designed to take your palate on a progression through the typical harvest season. The season starts with the harvest of our white and rosé wine varietals and ends with harvesting red wine varietals. Our vineyard team watches the brix to help determine when we should pick and what should continue ripening. Over the next few weeks\, we will bring in grapes to be crushed and begin fermentations for the 2023 harvest season. Much of the harvest schedule depends on the weather.  fruit\, and overall progression to reach its full potential. Timing is of the essence\, and no two harvest seasons are alike.\n\n\n\nThis month\, the Reserve will proudly serve a lineup of Bluemont Vineyard wines designed to let you sip your way through the progression of harvest season on the mountain. Start your tasting with bright white wines followed by a rosé and red wine selection. Reservations are $35.00 per guest per guest plus tax and a 20% gratuity. Each reservation includes a guided tasting of five wines.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWine Tasting\nWelcome Drink \n\nApple Bellini\n\n2022 Albariño\npaired with\nSpreadable Brie on a Toasted Crostini Topped with Great Country Farms Apples and Fresh Thyme\n\nAscent White paired with\nProsciutto Wrapped Melon Balls Topped with Fresh Rosemary Snippets\n\n2020 Rosé of Tannat \npaired with\nCaprese Skewer with Mozzarella Cheese and Cherry Tomato Topped with Fresh Basil\n\n2019 Merlot\npaired with  \nShaved Roast Beef Topped with Plum Chutney on a Biscuit\n\n\n*Option to enjoy a guided wine tasting tasting or elevate your tasting with a food pairing.\n\n\n*Please note this pairing is preset and may not be able to accommodate dietary restrictions. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur farm vineyard is located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains and just over an hour from the Washington D.C. area.
