DESCRIPTION:The results are in! \n\n\n\n\n\n\nEach year\, the Loudoun Winery Association hosts the annual Loudoun Wine Awards\, showcasing the best wines of the region. Loudoun County is home to more than 50 wineries and wine-tasting rooms. Markedly making it a must-visit destination for those who want to enjoy unique local libations. \nAltogether this year there were 139 wines entered across 27 wineries which resulted in 15 gold medals and 112 silver medals. \n\n\n\n\nAfter submitting five wines to the panel for judging which is comprised of industry expert palates\, wine writers\, restaurant wine directors and sommeliers. We are thrilled to receive the news that Winemaker Scott Spellbring came home with five award-winning wines! \nThe Reserve at Bluemont vineyard is a cozy mountain lodge with a story of wine\, wilderness and wonder love. \nThe Reserve is excited to share with you the Loudoun Wine Awards Tasting\, featuring five winning vintages from this year. This extra-wide beer delivers smooth roasted malt flavors and a rich aroma with a sweet hint of chocolate. Coming in at a humbling 10% ABV this beer is sure to get you feeling all warm and toasty in no time. \n  \nReady\, Set\, Throw! Chasin’ Axe will be on-site both Saturday and Sunday throwin’ axes\, and they want you to join them! Does it get much better than hurling an axe at a target? Available ’till dark! \n  \nThe Shade Tree Collective will be bringing the tunes on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on the stage. These guys bring a high energy bluegrass feel to some of our favorite sing-along tunes! \n  \nAnd just when we thought we couldn’t have any more fun\, Nomini Bay Oyster Fest has been added to the mix…and y’all know they are a hoot!
